A captivating 1,000-kilometre journey following the backbone of Madagascar, linking the central highlands to the spectacular geological formations of the south. The expedition begins in Antananarivo, the City of a Thousand Warriors, before delving into the artisanal heritage of Ambatolampy and Antsirabe, revealing the authentic soul of the island through encounters with the Merina people.
The experience focuses on Madagascar’s extraordinary biodiversity with visits to two of the country's most iconic protected areas: the Ranomafana rainforest, a treasure trove of endemic orchids and rare species, and Isalo National Park, characterised by its imposing Jurassic granite massifs and deep canyons carved by erosion.
This shared tour features a local Italian-speaking guide, with travel in private air-conditioned vehicles. The itinerary is paced to balance wildlife observation with the discovery of local traditions, concluding with a domestic flight from Tulear to optimise the return journey to the capital.

Begin your introduction to the city along Independence Avenue, the beating heart of local commerce, followed by a visit to the Queen’s Palace complex, the historical residence of the Merina monarchs. Overnight stay at the hotel.
