The route winds from the capital, Lima, towards the enigmatic valleys of Nazca and Paracas, ascending to the towering peaks of Arequipa and Puno, before reaching the heart of the Inca Empire in Cuzco and the lost city of Machu Picchu.
This itinerary showcases Peru's striking contrasts, from the desert coast, where you will fly over the mysterious Nazca Lines and explore the biodiversity of the Ballestas Islands, to the high altitudes of Lake Titicaca and the Sacred Valley. The cultural experience is further enriched by the colonial architecture of Lima and Arequipa and the enduring mysticism of the Urubamba Valley archaeological sites.
