Request informationA trip to discover Peru with a little freedom. After two nights in Lima you fly to Arequipa, the white city at the foot of the volcanoes, and continue by scheduled bus to Puno, on Lake Titicaca, for a day among the lake communities.
Across the high plateau you reach the Sacred Valley of the Incas, with the village of Chinchero, the circular terraces of Moray and Ollantaytambo. From here the train takes you to the foot of Machu Picchu, and the trip ends with two nights in Cusco, the old Inca capital.

10 days in the programme
Welcome to Peru. Departure from Italy on an intercontinental flight to Lima. On arrival, private transfer to the hotel.
The capital on the Pacific. A city tour with your guide: the colonial centre, a UNESCO site, with the Plaza de Armas and the cathedral, and the modern Miraflores district, overlooking the ocean.
The white city. Flight to Arequipa and transfer to the hotel. Free time in the historic centre, built of white volcanic stone at the foot of the Misti volcano.
Onto the high plateau. Transfer to the station and a scheduled bus journey across the Andean plateau to Puno, on the shores of Lake Titicaca.
The lake communities. A day on Lake Titicaca with your guide, among the floating Uros islands and the communities who still live by Andean traditions.
Across the Andes. A scheduled service from Puno towards Cusco, across the high plateau, then private transfer to the Sacred Valley of the Incas.
Chinchero, Moray and Ollantaytambo. A tour of the Sacred Valley with your guide: the village of Chinchero, known for its weaving, the circular terraces of Moray and the fortress of Ollantaytambo. Then a scheduled PeruRail or Inca Rail train to Machu Picchu Pueblo.
The Inca citadel. By scheduled bus up to Machu Picchu and a tour of the citadel with your guide. Return by train and transfer to Cusco.
The old Inca capital. A tour of Cusco with your guide: the Plaza de Armas, the cathedral, the Coricancha and the Inca sites around the city, such as Sacsayhuamán. Free time among the markets.
The flight home. Transfer to the airport and flight to Lima, connecting with the intercontinental flight to Italy. Night on board and arrival in Italy the following day.
