Request informationBordeaux is both a city of art and the capital of one of the most famous wine regions in the world. The old town, a UNESCO site since 2007, has 347 listed buildings: pale stone façades, Place de la Bourse with the Miroir d'eau reflecting pool, and the Garonne quays where river cruises set off.
Outside the city lie the vineyards of the Médoc and the medieval village of Saint-Émilion, with châteaux to visit and grands crus to taste. In town, the Cité du Vin tells the story of wine around the world and the Bassins des Lumières, in a former submarine base, host digital art exhibitions.

4 days in the programme
The old town. Arrival in Bordeaux and check-in at the hotel. A first walk through the old town, along the Garonne to Place de la Bourse and the Miroir d'eau, then among the shops and cafés of rue Sainte-Catherine.
A day in the vineyards. A day devoted to wine. A possible visit to the châteaux of the Médoc or the medieval village of Saint-Émilion, a UNESCO site, with tastings. On request the tour can be made by e-bike, sidecar or vintage 2CV.
Wine, art or the ocean. A free day. A possible visit to the Cité du Vin and the Bassins des Lumières, or an excursion to the Arcachon basin for the ocean beaches and oysters straight from the producers. For lovers of prehistory, the Lascaux caves.
End of the trip. A free morning for Saint-André cathedral and the historic districts, or for a river cruise on the Garonne. Departure.
