In the evening you see the city from the river, on a Danube cruise beneath the lit bridges. One afternoon is devoted to Hungarian flavours, with a wine and cheese tasting, and a day to relaxing at the Lukács baths, one of the historic baths best loved by locals.

The capital on the Danube. Arrival in Budapest and check-in at the hotel. A free evening for a first walk along the river.
Castle Hill. A guided tour of Buda hill: the Castle, the Fisherman's Bastion and Matthias Church. In the evening a Danube cruise, past the Parliament and the lit bridges.
Parliament and tasting. A guided tour of Pest: the Parliament, St Stephen's Basilica, Andrássy Avenue and Heroes' Square. In the afternoon a tasting of local wines and cheeses.
The Lukács baths. A day of relaxation at the Lukács baths, on the Buda bank. An optional walk on nearby Margaret Island.
End of the trip. Free time until departure, perhaps at the Central Market Hall.
