Request informationParis taken slowly, for two. The days are split between the great monuments and neighbourhoods to explore on foot: the Eiffel Tower and sunset over the Seine from a boat, the Louvre and the Mona Lisa, the steps of Montmartre up to the Sacré-Cœur, Notre-Dame on the Île de la Cité.
One day goes to Versailles, between the Hall of Mirrors and the gardens. The rest is everyday Paris: a croissant at the counter, a picnic in a park, dinner in a bistro with coq au vin and crème brûlée.
An independent four-night stay, to be tailored with visits, cruises and dinners.
5 days in the programme
The City of Light. Arrival in Paris and check-in at the hotel. A first walk on the Île de la Cité, with Notre-Dame, and along the Seine to the Latin Quarter.
The city's symbol. A possible climb up the Eiffel Tower for the view over the whole city, then a picnic on the Champ de Mars. In the evening, a cruise on the Seine, under the lit bridges.
Art and bohemia. A morning at the Louvre, with the Mona Lisa and the Venus de Milo. In the afternoon, Montmartre, with the painters' square and the Sacré-Cœur basilica. Dinner in a bistro.
The Sun King's palace. A day devoted to the Palace of Versailles: the royal apartments, the Hall of Mirrors and the gardens, with the Trianon and Marie Antoinette's hamlet.
End of the trip. A free morning for a last stroll and a freshly baked croissant. Departure.
