Request informationThe complete tour of Turkey, from the Bronze Age to the Ottomans. It starts in Istanbul, with Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, the Basilica Cistern, the Topkapı and Dolmabahçe palaces and a boat trip from the Spice Bazaar. Then a domestic flight takes you to Cappadocia, with Love Valley, Devrent Valley, the Göreme open-air museum and the underground city of Özkonak.
The road heads west: the Sultanhanı caravanserai and the Mevlana mausoleum in Konya, the white terraces of Pamukkale with the ruins of Hierapolis, then Ephesus with the Library of Celsus and the Great Theatre, and the House of the Virgin Mary.
From Izmir you visit the Temple of Apollo at Didyma, Miletus and Priene, then Pergamon with its acropolis and Asclepion, and Troy, the city of the Iliad, before returning to Istanbul from the Dardanelles.

11 days in the programme
The city on the Bosphorus. Arrival at Istanbul airport and transfer to the hotel.
Sultanahmet. A guided visit to the Hippodrome, the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and the Basilica Cistern, the great underground Byzantine reservoir.
Palaces and the Bosphorus. Topkapı Palace, Dolmabahçe Palace on the Bosphorus and the Rüstem Pasha Mosque, with its Iznik tiles. The Spice Bazaar and a boat trip.
Flight to Anatolia. Flight from Sabiha Gökçen airport to Kayseri and transfer to Cappadocia. First visits among the tuff formations and the underground city of Özkonak.
Valleys and rock churches. At dawn, for those who wish, a hot-air balloon flight. Then the Göreme open-air museum, the Pink Valley, Devrent Valley, Cavusin, the citadel of Uchisar and Love Valley.
Konya and the Silk Road. A long drive west, with stops at the Sultanhanı caravanserai and the mausoleum of Mevlana in Konya, founder of the whirling dervishes. Arrival in Pamukkale.
Hierapolis and Ephesus. The travertine terraces of Pamukkale and the ruins of Hierapolis. Then Ephesus, with the Temple of Hadrian, the Library of Celsus and the Great Theatre, and the House of the Virgin Mary. Arrival in Izmir.
The Ionian cities. An excursion from Izmir to the Temple of Apollo at Didyma, home of a famous oracle, the theatre of Miletus and the Hellenistic city of Priene. Return to Izmir.
Pergamon and Troy. The acropolis of Pergamon and the Asclepion, the ancient healing sanctuary. Then the archaeological site of Troy and arrival in Canakkale, on the Dardanelles strait.
Back to the Bosphorus. Crossing of the Dardanelles and return to Istanbul. Free time in the city.
End of the trip. Transfer to Istanbul airport.
