Request informationLjubljana is a small, easy-going capital, to explore on foot along the Ljubljanica river, among the bridges and buildings designed by the architect Jože Plečnik. On the first day a photo tour covers its finest corners: Prešeren Square, the Dragon Bridge, the market and Tivoli Park.
On the second day a guided trip out of town, to Postojna Cave, one of the largest in Europe, and Predjama Castle, built into a rock face. In the evening, a traditional Slovenian dinner with a show.
An independent stay in central Ljubljana, with a city tour, a trip to Postojna and Predjama and a traditional dinner.
3 days in the programme
The centre on a photo tour. Arrival in Ljubljana and check-in at the hotel, in the centre. A photo tour of the city: Prešeren Square, the Triple Bridge, the Dragon Bridge, the market and Tivoli Park.
Caves and a castle in the rock. A guided trip to Postojna Cave, partly explored by underground train, and to Predjama Castle, set into a rock face. Return to Ljubljana and a traditional Slovenian dinner with a show.
End of the trip. A free morning, perhaps to go up to the castle or browse the market, then departure.
