Request informationThe complete tour of Bali, with time to really get to know it. It starts in Seminyak and heads to the sea temple of Tanah Lot, the Jatiluwih rice terraces, a UNESCO site, and the temple on Lake Beratan, up to the north coast at Lovina.
Then Mount Batur from Kintamani, the Besakih Mother Temple on the slopes of Mount Agung, Goa Lawah with its bat cave and the holy waters of Tirta Empul, ending in Ubud. Four nights here for village life, the subak irrigation system, a hike on Mount Batukaru with an expert in medicinal plants and a day in Sidemen among weaving, offerings and jamu, the traditional herbal medicine.
It ends with four days by the sea at Nusa Dua.
12 days in the programme
Seminyak. Arrival at Bali airport and transfer to Seminyak. Free time and sunset on the beach.
Heading north. The temple of Tanah Lot on its rock in the sea, the Jatiluwih rice terraces and the Ulun Danu temple on Lake Beratan. A stop at the Munduk waterfall and the Banjar hot springs, then Lovina.
Volcanoes and the Mother Temple. Buleleng market and two rural fertility temples, then Kintamani with views of Mount Batur. A visit to Besakih, the Mother Temple, and arrival in Candidasa, on the east coast.
Rituals and forest. The Goa Lawah temple, with its bat cave, the traditional salt pans on the coast and the holy pools of Tirta Empul. Then the Monkey Forest and Ubud.
The most authentic Bali. A day in a traditional village: a school, if open, a Balinese home, the plantations and the subak irrigation system, a UNESCO site.
In the forest with a herbal expert. A hike in the forests of Mount Batukaru, with a local guide who is an expert in medicinal plants.
Culture and traditions. A walk through rice fields and villages in Sidemen and activities with the locals: weaving, preparing offerings, palm-leaf calligraphy and jamu, the traditional medicine.
To the sea. Transfer to Nusa Dua, in the south of the island. The rest of the day at leisure.
Sea and relaxation. A free day on the beach.
Sea and relaxation. A free day. If you like, a trip to Uluwatu temple at sunset, with the kecak dance.
Last beach day. Your last free day in Bali.
