Request informationFour East Coast cities, linked by rail, with no need for a car. It starts in Boston, the city of the American Revolution, with the Freedom Trail, the brick houses of Beacon Hill and Harvard, just across the river.
By train you reach New York, for three nights between Manhattan, Brooklyn and the great museums. Then Philadelphia, where the Declaration of Independence was signed in 1776, and finally Washington, with the National Mall, the Capitol and the Smithsonian museums.
The trains are scheduled Amtrak services, comfortable and frequent, arriving right in the city centres.

10 days in the programme
From Italy to Massachusetts. Flight from Italy to Boston and check-in at the hotel.
The city of the Revolution. A day along the Freedom Trail, the route linking the sites of the American Revolution, between Boston Common, the Old North Church and Beacon Hill. Optionally, Harvard and Cambridge.
By train along the coast. Amtrak train to New York, along the New England coast. Arrival at Penn Station and check-in at the hotel. Evening in Times Square.
Manhattan. A day between Central Park, Fifth Avenue, the Rockefeller Center and the great museums, such as the Met and MoMA.
Brooklyn and Lower Manhattan. Brooklyn Bridge on foot, Wall Street, the 9/11 Memorial and the High Line. Optionally, the ferry to the Statue of Liberty.
The city of independence. Amtrak train to Philadelphia. A visit to Independence National Historical Park, with Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell, and the old town.
The capital. A free morning in Philadelphia, perhaps on the art museum steps made famous by Rocky. Amtrak train to Washington and check-in at the hotel.
The National Mall. A day on the National Mall, between the Lincoln Memorial, the Washington Monument, the White House and the Capitol, with the free Smithsonian museums.
Flight home. Free time in the city, then your flight back to Italy. Night on board.
End of the trip. Arrival in Italy.
