Request informationNew York without a rigid schedule. You start in Midtown, between the Empire State Building, Grand Central Station and Fifth Avenue, up to the green of Central Park, and go up one of the observation decks to see Manhattan from above.
One day is for the museums: the Metropolitan, MoMA, the Guggenheim and the Whitney. Another is for history, with the ferry to Liberty Island and Ellis Island, then Lower Manhattan. You cross the Brooklyn Bridge for galleries, flea markets and live music, and come back in the evening to Times Square or Broadway.
If you like to keep moving, the Hudson River Greenway by bike, an evening cruise on the river, street art, SoHo and Greenwich Village.

6 days in the programme
The first lights of Times Square. Arrival in New York and check-in at the hotel. In the evening a first walk to Times Square, among the neon signs and the Broadway theatres.
The city's landmarks. A day in Midtown: the Empire State Building, Grand Central Station and Fifth Avenue. In the afternoon Central Park, and at sunset one of the skyscraper observation decks.
The great museums. A day for the museums: the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Guggenheim on Museum Mile, MoMA in Midtown or the Whitney in the Meatpacking District, where the High Line begins.
American history. Ferry to Liberty Island, at the foot of the Statue of Liberty, and Ellis Island, with its immigration museum. Afternoon in Lower Manhattan, between Wall Street and the 9/11 Memorial.
Across the bridge. On foot across the Brooklyn Bridge to DUMBO and the Brooklyn neighbourhoods, among galleries, vintage markets, street art and live music venues. Alternatively, the Hudson River Greenway by bike or an evening cruise on the river.
End of the trip. Free time for SoHo or Greenwich Village, then on to the airport for your flight home.
