Request informationNosy Be and the surrounding islands are the best place in Madagascar to go underwater. The trip includes eight dives, at the Nosy Tanikely marine park, with reefs full of turtles, barracuda and batfish, and on offshore shoals, where you look for dolphins and whales during surface intervals.
Dives alternate with boat days: Nosy Sakatia, with its seagrass meadows where green turtles graze, Nosy Iranja, two islets joined by a sandbar that appears at low tide, and Nosy Fanihy, for snorkelling. There is also an afternoon in the interior of Nosy Be, among volcanic lakes and the sunset from Mont Passot.
The package includes the flight from Italy, hotels and the meals in the itinerary. We can add a few days on the mainland, for example in the north between Diego Suarez and the tsingy.
8 days in the programme
Transfer to your hotel. Arrival at Nosy Be airport, entry formalities and transfer to your hotel. Dinner and overnight.
A full day of diving. A boat ride of about half an hour takes you to the Nosy Tanikely marine park. Dives on reefs between 6 and 20 metres, with turtles, barracuda, batfish and jacks. Water, fruit and snacks on board.
A half day at sea. Departure at 8 am from the hotel beach for the morning dives, back around 1:30 pm. Free afternoon.
The green turtles. Two dives with a break to look for dolphins, then a landing on Nosy Sakatia for a Malagasy lunch. In the afternoon, snorkelling over the seagrass meadows where green turtles graze.
Sea in the morning, sunset on Mont Passot. Two final dives in open water. In the late afternoon, an excursion into the interior of Nosy Be past volcanic lakes to Mont Passot, the island's highest point, for sunset.
Two islands and a sandbar. A sail of about an hour and three quarters to Nosy Iranja, two islets joined at low tide by a white sandbar. Visit to the fishing village and walk up to the lighthouse.
Snorkelling around a coral islet. About forty minutes by boat to Nosy Fanihy, an islet of coral sand and clear water, for a morning of swimming and snorkelling. Back to the hotel.
Airport transfer. After breakfast, transfer to the airport with assistance and flight home.
