Request informationA more complete Jordan than usual, combining archaeology and nature. In the north, the Roman cities of the Decapolis: Umm Qais, overlooking the Sea of Galilee, Pella and Jerash, one of the best preserved in the Middle East, with a night in the wooded Ajloun reserve.
Heading south, the palace of Iraq al-Amir, Madaba with its mosaic map of the Holy Land, Mount Nebo and the crusader castle of Kerak. In the Dana reserve you walk for two hours among canyons and stone villages, before reaching Petra.
After Little Petra, the Wadi Rum desert by jeep and on a camel, with a night under canvas, and to finish, floating in the waters of the Dead Sea.

Welcome to Jordan. Flight from Italy to Amman. On arrival, airport assistance and transfer to the hotel.
The Roman cities of the north. Umm Qais, ancient Gadara, with views over the Sea of Galilee and the Golan Heights, and the ruins of Pella. Night in the Ajloun reserve, among oak and pine woods.
The Roman city. Jerash, with its colonnaded street, theatres and Hadrian's Arch, and the Hellenistic palace of Iraq al-Amir. Arrival in Madaba.
Mosaics and crusaders. Mount Nebo, from where Moses saw the Promised Land, and St George's Church in Madaba with its mosaic map of the Holy Land. Lunch and a visit to Kerak castle. Arrival in the Dana reserve.
Hiking among the canyons. A two-hour hike in the Dana reserve, among canyons, coloured rocks and the stone village. Transfer to Petra.
The rose city and the desert. A day in Petra: the Siq, the Treasury, the Royal Tombs and, for those who wish, the climb to the Monastery. Then Little Petra and Wadi Rum, with a jeep safari and an hour on a camel. Night in a desert camp.
The lowest point on earth. Sunrise in the desert, then transfer to the Dead Sea. A free afternoon to float in the salt water and try the mud.
End of the trip. Transfer to Amman airport and flight back to Italy.
