Request informationJordan seen on foot, on the finest stretch of the Jordan Trail. From the Dana reserve you descend into the canyons of Feynan and Wadi Malaga and cross plateaus and gorges to Little Petra, sleeping in mobile tented camps. Your luggage travels separately.
You arrive in Petra by the back door, walking down to the Monastery as the caravans once did: an entrance few visitors know. The next day you explore the city on alternative trails.
It ends with a full day on foot in Wadi Rum, among red dunes and granite mountains, with a night at a fixed desert camp.

Welcome to Jordan. Arrival in Amman and transfer to Madaba, the city of mosaics.
Setting off on foot. Transfer to the Dana reserve and a walk down towards Feynan and Wadi Malaga, among canyons and coloured rocks. Night in a tented camp.
Gorges and plateaus. A trek through gorges and across plateaus to Ras el Feid. Night in a tented camp.
Towards the rose city. A trek to Gbur Alhidat and transfer to Little Petra. Night in a tented camp.
The back door. A trek from Little Petra to the Monastery and down into the city of Petra, like the ancient caravans. Night in a hotel.
Alternative trails. A visit to Petra on less-trodden paths, such as the trail to the High Place of Sacrifice. In the afternoon, transfer to Wadi Rum. Night at a fixed camp.
A day on foot in the desert. A full day trekking in Wadi Rum, among red dunes, rock arches and Nabataean inscriptions. Night at the camp.
End of the trip. Transfer to Amman or Aqaba airport for your flight home.
