Overview

A trip that brings together city, savannah and sea. It starts in Cape Town, with two private days with an Italian-speaking guide around Table Mountain, the Bo-Kaap and the Cape Peninsula, and a day in the Winelands of Stellenbosch and Franschhoek.

Then two nights in the private Makalali reserve, near Kruger. The safaris are lodge activities, in a 4x4 vehicle shared with the other guests and with English-speaking rangers. With a private driver you follow the Panorama Route, between the Blyde River Canyon and God's Window.

The last part is in the Seychelles, with three nights on Mahé and three on Praslin, in beachfront resorts.

The package includes flights from Italy and all domestic flights, 14 nights in hotels, private transfers, the listed visits with several lunches, the lodge safaris and medical and baggage insurance.

Good to know

  • Planned hotels or similar. Radisson Blu Hotel Waterfront in Cape Town, Hawksmoor House in Stellenbosch, Makalali River Lodge in the Makalali reserve, Nut Grove Manor in White River, D'oreale Grande near Johannesburg airport, Constance Ephelia on Mahé and Constance Lemuria on Praslin.
  • The safaris are lodge activities and take place in a 4x4 vehicle shared with the other guests, with English-speaking rangers. The Panorama Route is with a private English-speaking driver, the visits of Cape Town and the Winelands with a private Italian-speaking guide.
  • Italian citizens on holiday in South Africa usually do not need a visa, but the passport must have blank pages and be valid beyond the return date. For the Seychelles you need a travel authorisation to be completed online. The Kruger area is a malaria zone, so ask your doctor for advice. All to be checked before departure.
  • In South Africa the seasons are the reverse of Italy's. From June to August the savannah is dry and good for safari, but in Cape Town it is the rainy season. The Seychelles are pleasant all year round.
