Request informationA private tour that crosses Thailand from south to north without doubling back. After a full day in Bangkok you head west: the Damnoen Saduak floating market and Kanchanaburi, with the Bridge on the River Kwai and the Second World War railway.
Then the ancient capitals, Ayutthaya and Sukhothai, with a stop in Lopburi, the monkey town. You climb north through Phrae, with its teak houses, to Chiang Rai, the Golden Triangle and the White Temple.
The last day in Chiang Mai is devoted to elephants, at a centre that cares for them, and to a meeting with the monks of Wat Suan Dok, who stop every day to talk with visitors.

Overnight flight. Departure from Milan Malpensa on a scheduled flight to Bangkok. Night on board.
Arrival in the capital. Arrival in Bangkok and private transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day at leisure.
A day with your guide. A full-day private tour: the Grand Palace and the Emerald Buddha, Wat Pho, the canals of Thonburi by boat and Chinatown.
The floating market and the River Kwai. Early in the morning, the Damnoen Saduak floating market. Then Kanchanaburi, with the Bridge on the River Kwai and the cemetery of the prisoners of war who built the railway.
Two capitals and the monkey town. A visit to the ruins of Ayutthaya, then Lopburi, with the Prang Sam Yot temple, home to the monkeys. Arrival in Sukhothai in the evening.
Heading north. Morning in Sukhothai Historical Park. Then Phrae, a town of teak houses off the tourist trail, and arrival in Chiang Rai.
The Mekong and the White Temple. The Golden Triangle on the Mekong, Chiang Rai's White Temple and the drive to Chiang Mai.
A day of encounters. Morning at a centre that cares for elephants. In the afternoon, Monk Chat at Wat Suan Dok, to talk with the monks about their lives. In the evening, flight to Bangkok and connection home. Night on board.
End of the trip. Arrival at Milan Malpensa.
